50.000 EUR for startup Orderbird
Each year the Financial Times Germany (FTD) brings together a jury of business VIPs (this year among them Lars Hinrichs, founder of Xing and head of the incubator hackFwd) to cast their vote on several young and promising companies (not all of them internet based business models, actually most were not) – which had to apply for the award. The award, next to being prestigious, also gives the young companies 50.000 € in cash.
Orderbird was amongst one of five winners this evening. If past successes are any indication it bodes well for orderbird: From the internet sector two years ago mymuesli.de won, last year statista. Both companies “grew up” to become very successful. So Orderbird – congratulations!
